Meet Kassie Welch
Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
Witnessing clients uncover their strength and potential and reach their milestones is incredibly rewarding for me.
What I love most about what I do is the opportunity to walk alongside my clients as they discover their strength and resilience. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness their growth, especially when they begin to realize their potential and take ownership of their future. The process of helping them navigate life’s challenges, both big and small, and seeing them reach milestones—whether it’s personal growth or achieving concrete goals—reminds me of the profound impact therapy can have.

My therapy approach
Navigating life’s challenges—whether anxiety, relationship struggles, or personal growth—can feel overwhelming. But healing happens in a space where understanding, support, and real transformation are possible.
Every session is shaped to fit individual needs, goals, and strengths. With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), unhelpful thought patterns become clearer and more manageable. Internal Family Systems (IFS) provides a way to understand different parts of the self with compassion and insight. For couples, techniques from the Gottman Method foster deeper connection and healthier communication.
Therapy isn’t just about talking—it’s about real change. And in this space, healing isn’t just possible—it’s already beginning.
My mantra reminds us that life’s journey, much like tending a garden, requires consistent attention and nurturing.
Plant, Water, Tend, Grow—a reminder that growth takes time, care, and patience. Like a garden, life requires more than just time and space. It asks for attention sometime gently, sometimes with intention, and sometimes fiercely focused.
My role is to walk alongside you, providing a safe space for growth and discovery.
My role in the therapy process is to walk alongside my clients, offering guidance, support, and a safe space for exploration and growth. I aim to empower individuals to discover their inner strength and resilience, helping them navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence.
Maintaining mental health is not about always being happy, it’s about having the resilience to face life’s challenges with strength and balance.
Mental health is the ability to handle life’s challenges while maintaining a sense of self and well-being. It is not about perfection or constant happiness but about having the tools to cope with difficulties, nurture relationships, and grow through adversity. It requires resilience and balance.
